Welcome to Winter Haven’s first waxing center dedicated to waxing and just that. Because who wants to go to a salon where one person focuses on everything? Here at WH we emphasize placing the skin first by removing hair safely, effectively, and the most comfortable way possible. Our goal is to analyze and then educate every guest on their skin type as well as preventive measures of ingrown hairs. Most big waxing corporations are not founded by an esthetician, and I’ve realized that from working at the most reputable one. By utilizing my tacit knowledge of strip laying I found positive results in the levels of comfort. I’ve given my regulars a skin regime to follow, and seen results from a month to month visit. Gaining my confidence while working in other esthetic organizations has truly humbled me, but now I’m ready to take-on and focus-on what works.
To give all of our clients 100% of our efforts, we ask that you do not book if you are in a rush. As every client requires a different time frame on their service. All times listed are an estimate and may increase or decrease depending on the clients circumstance. Therefore, I ask for your sincerest patience in making sure we give our best to each guest.
Please come to your appointment with a mask on! No shaving for three weeks! Hair must be 1/4 inch (grain of long rice). Not only does it make your skin less irritable before waxing, but it also make sure there's no ingrowns that are being created. When you're coming in for a service the wax tries to pull up both ingrowns and dead skin that leads us into the next point. Exfoliate two days before appointment: when you complete this step it ensures a cleaner surface for the wax to seep into your hair follicles. Exfoliating will create a closer grip of the wax to the root. Which in return makes the service less painful, and providing a cleaner outcome on the first pull.
You will be required to place a 50% deposit down upon creating an appointment. A TWELVE or more hour notice is required for appointment changes.
You will be offered a return of deposit if notified before the 12 hour window of canceling an appointment.

Class Cancellation Policy
All deposits are non-refundable two weeks prior to class. The remaining payment is due 3 days before class starts to be enrolled.
